Fluid Element – First Shots of the Production Boat
After a long wait I finally got my production Fluid Element. The only downside is that I haven’t had the chance to paddle it yet! I have tried two prototypes but that’s it. So in the meantime I decided to throw up a few shots of the boat and in desperation do something in the swimming pool.
Here are the specs according to Fluid:
Length | 202 cm / 6'7" |
Width | 64 cm / 25.25" |
Volume | 205 litres / 54 gal (est.) |
Weight | 14 kg / 31 lbs |
Paddler Weight | 65 - 95 kg / 140 - 210 lbs |
Enjoy the photos! For a short video clip of the boat in the swimming pool, click HERE! Yep, I was pretty desperate...
Various angles of the beast! Beautiful boat... :-)
Fins that work with the Element are made by 4wfs. Click HERE for their site. Your boat will NOT come with fins though. Why? Because there are so many different designs and personal preferences. Celliers has designed a special fin for the Element and this is available on request.
Medium Nemesis (left) and medium Element (right).
Easy to loop at least! :-) Photos by Anni Tregoning.
Looks like I’ll be able to hit the sea pretty soon. Cape Town in less than 3 weeks!!!
